Drawing 201

This is a 4 week class focused on building upon the fundamentals of drawing. Ages 12 and up.

Each week we will build foundational drawing skills while learning best practices for tools and materials. Using graphite and charcoal, students will learn how to use lines, porportions, shading, and create texture. Part of the class will be spent working on a full drawing using the techniques as they are learned.

P lease bring an 8.5×11 black and white print of something simple you would like to draw. Suggestions: an object, something from nature, an animal. Pick something you care about or that interests you. We’ll be working on the drawing of this print each week. All materials are supplied.

I keep the class small so you get as much out of the class as possible.
