Oil Painting 201

This 4-part class will help youbecome more comfortable painting in oils. We will paint an animal (or pet) and learn about painting fur, textures and glazing. Each week we will practice basic techniques and put them to use in an animal painting. Class includes all materials. When you sign up you’ll have the chance to pick the photo you work on each week.

• Week 1: Image selection, canvas prep and composition
• Week 2: Image transfer, block in first layer of color
• Week 3: Add more color layers and texture
• Week 4 Add details and finish up
