We’ll build a handmade journal using old pages, coffee stained papers, and scraps from magazines and patterned papers. Then we’ll bind the books into a cover using a very simple technique and get it ready to use as a Gratitude Journal in 2025.
I’ll provide everything you will need, but you are welcome to bring papers and pages you’ve been *saving* (we won’t use the word, “hoarding.”) If you don’t have anything to bring, don’t worry, the studio has PLENTY.
It just so happens that there is an Open Art Journal class starting 30 minutes after this class ends, so if you want to stick around for that, you can save $5 by choosing the PLUS ticket option when you purchase your Junk Journal ticket.
If you would like to grab a lunch or coffee at Good Company Cafe in between the classes, I’ll have a menu in the studio and you can place your order 30 minutes before the Junk Journal class ends so it’s ready for you to pick up at 12:30. You are welcome to bring your snacks back to the studio, or eat there at the cafe.
Space is limited to 6.
