DESCRIPTION:All art materials are supplied\, including lunch. Plus bring a bag of supplies if you would like to participate in a supply swap. Also\, if you buy two tickets you save! \n10:00am: Tape\, Tags & Gelli Rolls. During the morning part of camp you’ll have 3 stations to choose from. You can do all three or hang out at just one..your choice! The 3 stations are: \n\nTape: Using tape to make a grid on watercolor paper\, you’ll use paints and different mark making tools to create a full page of colors-and when you remove the tape you’re left with 9 individual paintings!\nTags: make creative gift tags for Christmas (or another occassion) or just decorate them to use in a mixed media project or an art journal.\nGelli Rolls: I’ll have gel print supplies out as well\, so you can print up some papers for your art stash.\n\n12:00: Break for lunch. We’ll order from Lost Pizza Co. your choice of Chef Salad or a personal size pizza. \n1:00pm: We’ll head over to a thrift store close by to find one item to use in a project. (You’ll purchase this) \n2:00pm: Meet back at the studio and spend the rest of the afternoon using your found treasure in a project. We’ll spend the first few minutes sharing what we found and coming up with a plan for it. Coffee & tea provided. \n4:00pm: All good things must come to an end\, and we’ll end our camp at 4pm.

SUMMARY:Artist Trading Cards Make & Swap
DESCRIPTION:Artist Trading Cards (ATC)swaps have been around for a while. You can paint\, draw\, or do mixed media in an Autumn theme (though you don’t have to have a theme).  Make as many cards as you like in 2 hours\, and at the end we will then trade a card with each other (or keep\, whatever you choose!) The cards are always the same size\, 2.5×3.5 – I’ll have a ton prepared using different types of card stock. You can add them to a journal\, a recipe box\, or make up your own way of storing them. All materials are supplied\, but you are welcome to bring whatever you like to use with your cards. \nThis class will be in the classroom at Dogwood and Magnolia Bakery in Mooresville. Be sure and pick up a delicious treat while you’re there\, and wander around the attached ANTIQUE shop.

Then jump right into some techniques to get you started with the art part of journaling\, and spend time creating. You can then work on the book at your own pace. This is one of the most requested classes I teach\, and it’s been a little bit since I offered it. Now seems like a great time to dive into this journey! \n\n\n\n\nREVIEWS\nI absolutely loved the Art Journaling through the Artist’s Way course at Studio 127! There was so much to explore through the book that I actually took it twice. Monica is a gem and the open studio sessions are always inclusive and fun. I have enjoyed meeting some wonderful ladies and am grateful for the sense of community in the studio. The Artist’s Way is a revelation and not just for artists.
