DESCRIPTION:This is more than just a journal\nWe slow down\, pay attention to what is in front of us: beautiful paint colors\, pages out of books\, bits of ribbon and lace\, poems\, words\, and pens to write out your own affirmations. You don’t need any experience with art journaling\, or art at all. This is a lovely and personal way of making pages that you enjoy\, and that will speak to you later when you look at it. \nIn this complete introduction to Art Journaling as a tool for practicing mindfulness\, you’ll learn some great techniques and have plenty of time to work in your journal. This is a 2-hour class. \nIncludes a mixed media\, lay-flat journal\, a deck of writing prompts\, art supplies to use in the class and a “to-go” bag to take home. I’ll have coffee ready in the studio\, or you are welcome to stop and get a treat from Good Company Café just across the way from the new studio.
